IMPLENTATION ISSUES

While the concept of inferential measurement is simple and the inferential model building techniques  should be straightforward given the abundance of computer aided tools that are now available, there are a number of important things to bear in mind.

  1. Foremost is the conditioning of data used for model building and when the inferential estimator is running on-line.
  2. Next, is the selection of secondary outputs and inputs to use in model building
  3. Estimator testing.

The following pages cover these three areas in some detail.
